I've been after a laptop for a while now and I'v just confugured this:

Is this a good deal? It comes to £524 which is about 835 dollars.

Advice and alternatives would be much appreciated.

That is bad. Very bad. You really need better intigrated video, or a dedicated nvidia/ati card.

Edit: And yeah, definately go for the 64-bit.

I don't seem to able to change that. This will be mostly for school, media and photo editing. Is it that bad if i'm not using it for gaming?

No, I don't suppose so.. But if I were dropping nearly $800 USD on a laptop, there's plenty of room to have a decent integrated/GPU.

That intigrated card is not that bad. I you only use for school, photos etc. Its more than enough. But, if you plan on playing the latest games, I' sure it won't work. But it will run older games pretty solid, and can also run new games that do not require good graphic card, like Football Manager etc... It is also capable of DX10 and Shaders 4, but that doesn't mean that they will run any game which requires those specifics!
