I have never played any new/popular video games on a computer before. I have always used playstation or xbox consoles. I recently started thinking about getting involved in the computer gaming experience and I wanted to seek some advice on gaming computers. I don't want to spend a lot of money on a new computer since I will only be using it for gaming; however, I do want a good quality computer so that everything flows well and doesn't lag. A friend of mine just bought a new gaming computer and said it was a good deal and worked well. If any of you are experts or have a good understanding on how well of a gaming computer it would be, could you give me your opinion on the computers at agc gaming. I believe the website ishttp://affordablegaming.biz/. I don't want to spend a lot of money, but I want to know that the computer will work well for gaming. If you guys could check out the website and let me know if you think it's a good deal, I would appreciate the feedback. Thanksgamingmaster77
no no no you dont buy prebuilt gaming computers.. ever its just such a bad idea it hurts to think about it and its not like the dangers are any worse.. ibuypower is having problems with mobo's breaking so foten they even had to put out a PSA of their own:

so problems wont be any less, if anything its worse, youd get mcuh better bang for buck with jsut as much risk if you were to build it yourself and you unlike several folks have a guide with pictures at your disposal

so yeah just do this our way and build it yourself.. if your feeling up to the task please supply a budget and anything else you need beyond the computer itself (monitor, mouse, keybaord, speakers)
if not ill reply back with another alternative to those.. monstrosities
budget's about $1200 and I don't want to spend money on any extra items...i just want whatever is needed for the game to look good and run smoothly...i will get back with more infogamingmaster77$1200 is a good budget... What games you wanna play? Wow? Crysis? Black Ops?
easy choose the x-ray 135 allthough it's a little pricey you could build that yourself for 800$ or even less. You can choose default options, allthough i would pick a minimalist black case all those lights could be annoying. If you need a keyboard and mouse you will have to select it too because it doesn't come with the package. I think it would come around 970$. If you pick a monitor with full hd with that it would come about 1240$. You can always select the videocard 560 ti with 1 gb that will save you 40$. You don't really need the 2gb version.
It does bother me they are saying an affordable monitor and not saying the brand. . They are talking about motherboards with life-long capacitators but those doesn't exist. They are not saying what brand of motherboard they are using too. They're using amd in all their systems which is a lot cheaper than intel (allthough also good quality but still) .
I won't say it's a bad shop though the 680 power supply they are using costs 120$ at newegg. Which is expensive for a 680W power supply, it has a lot of lights that's why the price is higher, is that really needed, more options would have been nicer. I can't find any feedback about the site allthough it seems they have been affiliated with cyber power pc.
If it's your only option and you don't have a way to build it yourself i would do it , otherwise i wouldn't. It's a bit expensiver for what you're getting and some parts like the psu is badly chosen. You only have one option with the 680W psu. If you're not interested in an illuminated psu you're paying too much, you're paying for those lights.
And mentioning an affordable monitor with just the price , resolution and size but no brand. That sounds like a ripoff or bad advertising. It could be bad advertising and it will cost em clients. If it's the latter that doesn't matter for you but you don't know that for sure that's why i'm saying look for other options.
Greetz.
I will be playing games like crysis or the new cod....mostly action/shooting games. I'm leaning towards something prebuilt just because I don't feel like building anything myself. I just want to get a computer and play.gamingmaster77Hey again, yeah like was said above... The X-ray 135 seems good as was said above, but I'd go with the X-ray 130 myself. They're stating the CPU for that model is to 3.8GHz (safely?) which means it's probably a better black edition model. The video cards between the the x-ray 130 and 135 are roughly the same to be honest and you dont need 2GB unless you plan on playing on multiple monitors... I don't quite remember if you needed a monitor or not, but that's a good point that was made above... If you are going to buy one from them ask about the brand first though. I think its a good idea to talk to anyone who your going to make a big purchase like this from... haha... Too bad you can't bust out $7K on that 190 thing... Triple GTX 580 Hydro Copper 2's!?!? Overkill maybe?
