I got a Best Buy $25 gift card, and was wondering what game can I get for $25-30. My top choice right now is Crysis Warhead. Don't mention Orange Box or COD4.bedram793
That sounds like a good choice :)

Can't go wrong with that choice.
Hmm, think I'll pass on STALKER. I'm pretty sure now I'll go with Warhead. How well do you guys think will I be able to run it? I ran the Crysis demo fairly well. All medium except physics on high on 1024x768 with about 50 FPS average. Does Warhead play better?bedram793
While I havent busted out Warhead just yet, from what I heard it is supposed to run better what are your specs?

If you can shop on eBay, that would be the way to go. You can get games in brand new/factory sealed or used condition for very cheap. I do all my game shopping there and saved hundreds. And I dont have to drive all the way to my local best buy and what not. Save gas. :P
Well, first of all, I can't use a Best Buy gift card on eBay. Second, a big reason I'm choosing Warhead over the first Crysis is the multiplayer. Especially that I heard the first one was kind of iffy, and how this one is a lot better. I'm going to play through the single player as well.bedram793
As I said....If you want a multiplayer game, Warhead has MUCH better multiplayer. However... The SP story isn't going to connect very well if you play Warhead first. It would be like buying the Orange Box and playing straight into Episode 2 before playing the main game/first episode. It will no doubt still be fun, but from a story standpoint it probably won't make much sense.
If you can run the original Crysis then you'll have no problems with Warhead. I use a gaming laptop and I can really see the improvement in Warhead. It's standalone so you don't need the original game.
I'm not sure what else is out there in that price range. You might just want to save it up for October. Lots of big name stuff is supposed to come out then.
Well, I would get CoH, but I bought it already and I played through the campaign, and now I can't find the CD. I had it installed on my brother's computer and now I can't install it in my new computer, so I don't have it. :(
Anyways, I'm going with Warhead now. And yeah, thanks for the heads up SuperBeast about the story. I already know a bit about it, so I might just read some stuff about it and maybe at least it will make a bit more sense. Multiplayer is kind of important to me, since it makes the game last a bit longer.
