I wait till i can get games for under $20, especially expansions.

I wish i wasnt screwed over when i bought Sin though... Im glad i was able to BS M$ when i got AOE3 and it was already registered, so they sent me a new copy, was a huge PITA though.

Now i just try to make sure games dont get bound to someone when i buy it.

Age of Mythology and its expansion are a great set of RTS's that are around $30. Rome Total War is a great turnbased strategy/real time tactical combat hybrid with TONS of great mods. Homeworld and Homeworld II are really nice space RTS's with solid graphics and an excellent story to go with its good gameplay.

For FPS's you could try Chronicles of Riddick or Brothers in Arms

I currently picked up RollerCoaster tycoon 3 platinum for 30$. Lots to do in the game. Try the demo.accord100
