Installed Memory: 3.00gb 2.87 usable

Are you asking about good games you can play for YouTube in general or modern games that can run on your specs? I don't know much about gaining/maintaining YouTube followers, but if you are willing to play older games, there is an ocean for you to choose from. Off the top of my head for older games:

- FEAR

- Duke Nukem 3D

- Brutal Doom

- Quake 3 Arena

- Bloodrayne

- Carmageddon 2

- Max Payne

- POSTAL 2

- Serious Sam

- STALKER

As far as new games go that can run on that, definitely the following:

- Broforce

I'd agree with Grizzly on most points. You won't be playing much (if anything) modern with that hardware. further, recording will further strain that hardware. I totally disagree with the Stalker recommend though as I am pretty sure youd need something more substantial GPU-wise for that.

Granted, a $50 GPU found on Craigslist would bump you up several orders of magnitude....

Sorry man, your PC is pretty potato. You'll definitely be able to play plenty of old games though, except Crysis and Stalker, and some others. As for streaming, recording, and editing your vids? Naw, not with that CPU.

Hey,

I also second Prison Architect, put plenty of hours into that game, should you be into it. If you are into that kind of game, then definitely check out Rimworld. I've been playing it since well before it made it to Steam. Such a fantastic game.

I'm not sure how well they'll run, but perhaps Mount and Blade? Great time sink and good fun once you get the hang of how it works.

@nexisol: I personally don't know the term of good game to play on YouTube, if you edit your videos right and people find them interesting the games are not your boundry.

I would recommend on DIablo 2, still a great game even for today - currently replaying it :P

If he can play TF2 then he should be able to play Stalker just fine (at least the first one, haven't played the presequels/expansions yet). My laptop (HP 4530s i3) can't make TF2 playable but I play STALKER with a pretty much perfectly stable framerate (Don't know the exact numbers, haven't meassured them).

Anyway, I'll put all the games I've put on my laptop that are actually playable assuming you're willing to sacrifice visuals (In some cases). I don't think my laptop is much more or anymore powerful than your computer, so if it works for me, it should work for you:

Resident Evil 4, 5 (yep, 5 is perfectly playable on my laptop)

Deus Ex 1 + Human Revolution (Had to lower the resolution and all the advanced settings are on low but it plays pretty smoothly)

Thief 2

System Shock 2

Bioshock 1 + Infinite (Had to lower EVERYTHING from the latter to almost the bare minimum to get it to run smoothly, but it works)

The Witcher (1) Enhanced Edition (Full res with most settings on medium)

Dota 2 (full res, most settings disable/minimum except textures)

Limbo

Splinter Cell Chaos Theory

STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl (Full res, most settings on the medium range but the FPS is pretty smooth).
