What would be good for a price range of about $1150-1500? And i mean all the pieces like RAM Cards, Processor and Speakers stuff like that.

Even $800 would do. $1000 - $1500 is more than enough. But yes, you may get better results in the hardware forum.

doubt it, if you bought a pre-built gateway you probably have an integrated video card. but we need to know specs.

I "made" the avatar from the Starcraft 2 live demonstration when it was first unveiled. I just loaded up the .mov into Photoshop (Imageready actually), cropped it to this size, and loaded only the frames on the talkign protoss guy.

Been meaning to try and get the terran old guy talking.

I've heard from interviews with the developer that they're going to aim for lower end systems also so the pc you have now might also play the game. You'll probably want to wait until the game comes out to get a pc since you don't want to over pay for features you're not going to use.

you never know. my little brother boughta pre-built gateway for 900 at Best Buy. It had a Geforce 7 series GPU... and this was before the 8 series cards came out. He can run most games on high...

Shellshade

Well, I'm hoping that I can run it on my computer. My specs are:

Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 4000+ AM2

Operating System: Windows Vista Home Premium

Video Card: EVGA e-GeForce 7900GS 256MB

Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320GB

Memory: OCZ Value DDR2 PC5400 1GB

Didn't cost me too much and I can run all current games seemingly good.
