I have recently been told that i have to purchase a laptop for my university course, and i am looking to spend up to £750 maybe a little bit over but not to much and i was wondering if i could get the help of the gamespot fanatics to help me.

I am going to be using the laptop mainly for design programs such as photo shop and maybe some 3d design software but i was also looking for a laptop that could play games at a nice high level and not lag or have any over heating problems.

Any help would be appreciated.

You can sometimes get an HP HDX16t from HP.com for under 750 with a coupon. That has a 9600MGT.

well, it doesn't really exist. you can play some games at decent settings, but nice high settings on pc games on a laptop for that price is asking a bit much.

Lenovo Thinkpad T-Series - extremely sturdy, great keyboard, and you can get it with a Radeon 3470.
