I like to play any of the ARMA games but the online doesn't really appeal to me. I am looking for a game that has a lot of players and also the need to use teamwork to win the game instead of going lone wolf, run and gun style playing. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Bad Company 2 all the way. Destructible environments, people who are actually willing to work together, and it's just satisfying as hell.

Idk about that.... i mean the battles are fun, but i dont think its on the scale of 64v64 or w.e TC is looking for. No one listens in BC2 anyways.... majority just snipe and go for kills and not objectives..

I would say Arma 2 but seen as you specifically said not that, I would have to say Project Reality. It's a battlefield 2 mod which involves alot of squad based teamwork. It's like a complete new game!

Project Reality

Battleground Europe.

It's literally an entire virtual version of WWII being fought online. There are no individual "maps" or set number of players. Everyone is fighting on a humongous map half the size of Europe. You can be a troop on the ground, drive a truck to haul in fellow troops or anti-tank/air guns, drive armored cars and tanks, and even fly fighters, bombers, and transport planes.

THA-TODD-BEAST

I didn't feel like I was getting my money's worth with that game:(

EDIT: They do offer a free trial though if I remember correctly so you can test it out first.

What did you not like about it?

Ever since they've improved the visuals and added ragdoll physics, I think it's become even better!

Its not so much me not liking certain stuff about it but more that I just felt it was too expensive for what you get. This was like two years ago though so alot has probably been added/improved since then.

I've got BFBC2 for the Xbox 360 but there is something about the PC where I would feel like it would be a lot more team based. I think i'm going to try Project Reality, and I'll play that until they come out with PR: ARMA 2 which seems like its never going to be released.
