I was wondering, regarding people with super computers, if they have had any good results with taking an older game ...and maxing out the graphics and its effects with your experience and enjoyment...

Example: eq2 I did not like too much when i played in past.... but I can now do MAX dangerously High settings with no sweat, and I love the game now...

Anyone get any results with old games that changed their experience?

I played Command And Conquer Tiberian Sun on low settings quite a few years back. I still play the game to this day maxed out, but I still enjoyed the game when I had the settings to low.

Unreal looked OK when running it on low on my Cyrix 6x86 PR200 but when I got my Duron 800 maxed out looked awesome.

Hmm, I have enjoyed loading old games to max out and see how they look now but it never changed the experience for me. I primarily play games for the gameplay/story. The graphics to me is just a bonus (I play a text based game for 2 years) but none of the games have improved due to the improved looks for me.

I don't think it's really changed my opinion. They're fun to me just because of the fact you can actually run them the way they were intended.
