Good Online PC games - recommendations?

What are some good online pc games that have stood the test of time, and are still constantly being played online? I know of some like BF2, starcraft, warcraft, counterstrike, ut2004, diablo II, or even TF2(if you can call that old). Are there other good ones? Also, star wars battlefront 2 seems pretty interesting, but does anyone know if people still play it online?

  • Stronghold Crusader

Those are some that I still see people playing outside those you mentioned.

Some people still play battlefront 2, and some still also play jedi academy.

almost anything notable from the past 10 years. Even the san andreas mod has a good bunch of people playing.

Guild Wars has some good single player questing, and multiplayer PVP. People still play it, but not as many as before.
