Good pre-2000 PC games?

Dude your options are very limited...some of the best RTS games were back then (starcraft and C&C series). if you dont mind the graphics then duke nukem series, doom 1/2, shadow warrior, to be honest i cant name that many games before 2000 besides the ones listed here and above.

I have a windows 2000 computer. I know games made before the year 2000 run fine on it so I was looking for some recommendations. I don't have internet so I can't buy it off Steam and online play isn't a factor. (so no games like Counter Strike.) I'm not a big fan of RTS's and RPG's but I enjoy FPS's and action games like Half Life(I own it for the PS2) etc.bigfatcrap

even if you don't like rts's you owe yourself to try Starcraft. There is also doom 1 & 2, System Shock 1 & 2, X-Com, Quake, Unreal Tournament 1 (although thats best online) and more but I can't think of em.

I've bought Starcraft and I like it(Zerg are my favorite) but that's the only RTS I like.bigfatcrap
