550W? i want like around 600 - 700 so i can run stuff on full load, im getting a phenom, running 7 fans, possiblu liquid cooling, for now my 8800GTS 320mb. bluebusiness
Enermax Infiniti come in at around that price range and have good clean power output, I'm using Enermax Galaxy 1000w on both my PC's and so far they've been very stable in providing power to my GPU's.
pc power and cooling one of the best psu manufactures

Wattage means nothing. The Corsair 550VX will handle all of that without a problem.
That PC Power & Cooling 610W is also a fine choice by the way. :)
yes but Corsair is annoying... why can't they have flashy cool looking PSUs with fan controlling so stupidbluebusiness
They don't need to rely on blingy lights to sell PSU's.
Companies like Apevia and Xion rely on bling just to sell their third rate PSU's onto customers like you.

hahaha youv been sigged

P.S. I'm gonna sig you too
Some people are obviously incapable of being mature *cough*indestructible&sabbath*cough* maybe you two could have shown him some psus that have bling along with quality.achilles614
They're not being immature, they're making a valid point.
If a company like Apevia offers a 600w unit with flashy lights, colouful cables, dual fans and all for the fraction of equally rated part, do you think they're for real? No way! Obviously Apevia can make money off of cheap PSU's because the components they use are rubbish.
Companies like Seasonic and PC Power & Cooling use top quality components, but this of course pushes up the price on their parts. However, you get what you pay for when you buy a good quality build like their's.
It's a real shame too, because I bet Apevia is able to sell more units than manufacturers wo actually put the effort into building quality PSU's.
Well i am flattered by you guys sigging me lol. I want bling and quality in one... is that too much to ask? Do companies out there not have the technology to put them together? bluebusiness
Hm...
You could try the Seasonic build Antec Neo Power Blue:

So long as you don't load that OCZ past 70% or so, it should be fine. Any higher, and the noise on the +12V rails actually starts to exceed ATX specifications. Also, it isn't modular compared to the Antec.
I would still go with the Antec. It has better output quality, and that's all that you should look for in a PSU.
Think about, would you want a heart that has a high risk of heart failure but looks "cool"? Or would you prefer a heart that looks standard, but has a very very low chance of failure?
Wattage with these companies is complete bs.
What you really want to look at is the amperage on the 12v rails. If it's a multi rail power supply with 18+ amps on each rail even a "500W" power supply should power any system, but yu really need to read professional reviews for stability under load testing. You will really regret buying a loud and unstable power supply. I reccomend Antec and PCPowerandCooling
