I honestly have never heard of Xion. the reviews look good, so chances are you will get a quality part

However, If I am right, that might be overkill for future ATI cards

if you are looking at the r600, then you should at least consider power supplies that has the new 8 pin pci-e connectors.

you can still use the 6 pin, but apparently you can't use the overclocking overdrive feature if you don't use the 8 pin, besides that 8 pin provides more juice than the regular 6 pin.

Watch out with these super cheap power supplies! Here -- in The Netherlands -- you can easily get 800Watt power supplies for only 50 euro! That's complete bull-crap and I don't know WHY they are even being sold.. :? I'm just warning you to find a decent power supply instead of one that fries your PC. ;)

im thinking of getting this puppy that is 50 bucks after rebate.

looks solid to me. tell me what you think

Careful.., the PSU is the component that powers your whole system. Wouldn't risk buying a cheap/never-heard-of-brand for your computer. Get this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341002

it looks like he's inclined to get the seasonic one, with the pci-e 8 pin connector.

Get the 650W version, I say get it off eBay. Most powersellers on there are selling them for about $60-70 shipped.
