Case -COOLER MASTER Elite RC-310-BWN1-GP
PSU -SILVERSTONE ELEMENT ST75EF 750W ATX12V
CPU -AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition
MoBo -ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 AM3 AMD (for some reason adding a link for this won't work...it's on newegg though for $119.99)
RAM -Corsair XMS3 TW3X4G1333C9 - 4GB (2x2GB)
HDD -SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB
GPU -XFX HD-577X-ZNFC Radeon HD 5770 1GB

I don't necessarily want to run every single game at max settings, but at least fairly high. And I also want to confirm that all of these components are compatible. The parts total $744.93 and if anyone can make suggestions to this that can make it better or lower the price with equal performance they are welcome to. Thanks.

Looks good to me. You'll be able to upgrade to a hexa core CPU if you ever want to. No option for CrossFire though, so if you want to ever to to increase your graphic performance you'll need to get a new mobo or a higher end video card.

I would suggest possibly upgrading your motherboard to this Gigabyte 890GX GA-890GPA-UD3H motherboard for better future upgradability.

If your not considering crossfire, then the PSU is way overkill. A quality 650watt will do fine.

Switch PSU with the cheapo Corsair 650W, use extra money for GTX 460. Done and done.

On a side note...if you're going to get an upper echelon Phenom, might as well get a i5 750. They're that much better. (And no, the rumor that LGA1156 boards are expensive are blantantly false. They're as cheap as AM3 boards...)

The PSU is overkill for your build, unless you plan on running Crossfire later on. If you don't plan on running 2 or more cards, find a good quality 550W PSU and save yourself a few bucks. Also if you're not going to crossfire, you might want to look into picking up a GTX 460 1GB card over the HD 5770 - check specs on the cards and benchmarks and make the decision if you want to or not. Otherwise, that build should run any game on decent settings at 1680 x 1050 and down. The GPU might struggle a bit on some games at a 1080p resolution.

SeaSonic 520w PSU- $60

ASRock 870 EXTREME3 Motherboard - $90

MSI Hawk GeForce GTX 460 1GB - $230

Price is the same, performance is better. You can redeem a $20 MIR on the video card, so it'ls slightly cheaper AFTER purchase.

I agree with this, it will be a very good build either way though.

I wouldnt get a 5770 for gaming. You could like the others have said, get a 600-650w PSU and use the leftover money on a better GPU. Even a last-gen 4870 would save you money for the same performance. You wont need DX11 and it will only drop your framerate. The current DX11 games are pretty demanding and theyre only going to get more demanding.

What resolution do you play at TC? Thats a major issue that no one has seemed to ask. Your PSU is overkill, mobo seems a tad expensive, and the 5770 is not longer the good price to performance card Good 600-650 psu, look for a 80-100 dollar gigabyte or asus mobo on sale or dropped in price, and depending on resolution a 768mb gtx 460 or 1gb gtx 460.
