I'm all about good audio when it comes to my music and gaming. Anybody know of any good speakers I could get. I like a lot of bass, so something with like a rediculous amount of watts. I might even just try to wire a Kicker L7 into the system. lol

The term "watts" is something that is thrown around too easily these days, take a look for example at an ad for a home theater in a box system, some might say things such as "1000 watts" which may or may not be true under various conditions, etc.
Something like this:
http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Surround-Speaker-System-980-000467/dp/B004M18O60/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1332640721&sr=8-1
As long as your not a complete audiophile
or if you can a z5500 for a good price, the sub is a good bit better sounding than that one
If you're just looking for bass, get yourself a decent 2.1 system. To get similar bass response to a Kicker L7 in a car environment, though, you'll have to spend a good amount of money. You'll probably want to consider a bit of DIY, and buy a subwoofer amp and sub from parts express. You could also preorder one of their Titanic MKIII kits, which will pound like nobodies business, and pair it with a nice set of monitors. Think about it. You need to give a budget, or i'll recommend a pair of these:

Kickers smh, why no jl w7 or alpine type x less loud but more crispy and musical :) at least thats what I would do if I had spare dough.

Watts is the a term for electrical power. At least that's how I understand it from my electrical section of class. Just as voltage the measurement of electrical pressure, and amperes is the measurement of electron movements or current. When I read something that says 1,000 watts, I expect some powerful stuff. Know what I mean. But budget wise, anything from $20 to $150.
I have them, and they are really nice..What's your budget? Klipsch Pro media 2.1 is what I normally recommend for ~ $100-150 mark.

There's a really good TDK 2.1 system called Tremor, the Tremor S80 sold for about £70 but I don't think it's still in production, you should,be able to get one on Ebay/Gumtree for £20-30, super value for money and the satellite speakers are small and light but they still sound great.

Actually high wattage doesn't always mean louder speakers, it all depends how well the speakers can make use of saidwattage. Buying based on a wattage alone is not a good idea really, the quality of the components used is far more important.
Aside from that wonderful tip of the day I can't really help though. :P I only ever use studio monitors with a PC so don't really know what's about in the home PC market.
