the hunter class gets alot of hate because alot of people play them but for me it's been the funnest class to play and very rewarding.A1B2C3CAL
That's the issue, and it's a real bummer in WoW for example. If you end up playing the glass that EVERYONE else plays, you won't get anywhere in the endgame. Sure the class is fun, but you as a person will have no fun when every raid group is full on your particular class. Anything hunter/archer based tends to get too many players because they are the ultimate farming machines. That is why they get such hate, because they are incredibly easy to play (term: nooby) and they are powerful - ultimate griefer class though.
Pick an average class, like yeh, a guardian.
I play the class that is the funnest for me to play and don't let others opinions sway what and how I play. I have almost 1 of every class and more than one of some. I can switch out any class when my kin needs it. The term nooby is as overused/abused as the hatred for classes that are played by the majority.
Just the other day I was in a fellowship that had all hunters in it. We had no need for a healer or any other class because the monsters couldnt get to us to do us any harm.
The games classes are blalanced and in the end they are all very similar to eachother... LOTRO has no Uber class that will dominate in the endgame.
Play what you like how you like and if someone doesn't like it don't play with them and move on.
Hunter and Champion are probably the best classes to start out with, easiest to learn the game with.Adam-117I agree, both of these classes offer great play and are fairly easy to learn how to play. They also both offer good solo playability for those days you just don't feel like hopping into a fellowship.
