Hey all, I'm looking for a tv to be used as a computer monitor as well. I will use it for cable tv, movies, console gaming, and my personal computer. Any suggestions on a good tv in the 1k-1500 dollar range ? Looking for at least a 46 incher. Thanks for any help.

I actually just finished shopping for a set this week. When I first picked up my Sony BRAVIA KDL46NX720 46-inch 1080p 3D TV I was disappointed. Amazing screen, but so much input delay. I kept telling myself that I could adjust to the lag, but I was fooling myself. I was about to return the thing when I found a post on the AVS Forum website. Apparently it has an IPS conversion setting within game mode which decreases lag time significantly. I found the option in the settings and applied it. OMG the setting resulted in a huge improvement in delay time. Usually game mode doesn't do anything on these HDTV sets, but this one actually WORKS! Lag time is pretty much now nonexistent. Trust me; I know a thing or two when it comes to input delay. I take my fighting games very seriously and any setup that causes delay is trash IMO. The only issue I have with this TV is that 3d glasses are not included but whatever. =)
