Remote Desktop in Win7 isn't exactly what he's looking for. That will only put you IN a remote computer, not on the same LAN.

What you are looking for , and assuming free, is OpenVPN

Otherwise, F5 Networks has some great VPN solutions, but you will be paying for it :)

I am using SurfEasy VPN. Not blocked yet in many countries unlike well-known HotspotShield, good for traveling. 500M/Month free data usage. Using the following link you can get 750M/Month:https://srfez.com/JD9TZRD89B. you have many ways to earn free data usage after signing up.

i use a VPN called Private Internet Access, its not free but its got 2 servers near where I live so i can connect to them and its like its not noticeable. Its around 40 dollars a year. p2p works with it and so do online games.

I've tried free vpn's, but found them slow and unrealiable.

I think Team-viewer allow To access the other people computers as if they were on your own LAN... furthermore you can use best VPN software if you have issue in access different web pages in your country IP. I would suggest you to check out the details of VPN services providers and use it.
