Got a new HDD. Need help with Norton Ghost and boot drive copy

Hey all,

I just got a new HDD on Newegg. The prices are crazy but I have been down to around 10GB left on my primary 1TB drive.

The new drive is also a Seagate Barracuda (Love them) but this one is 64MB cache as opposed to my boot drive which is 32MB cache. Got it for $99 ($40 more than I got it for last year)

What I want to do is use something like Norton Ghost to make a perfect copy of my boot drive to the new drive so i can use it as the boot drive without having to reformat and all that.

Is this possible without any problems?

If there is better software for this can you let me know? Thanks!

Forget Norton Ghost. Too many steps and issues.

Instead go for one of the following:
