Thanks thusaha .. but in ur opinion .. better ? GDI - NOD ?Specter_14
GDI is awesome because they definately seem to get the most powerful weapons and units, but their tactics are fairly straight foward.
Nod uses slightly weaker weapons in general, but they have some awesome abilities and it is so much fun using all the different units in a battle and letting stuff unfold. Assault a base with tanks, then sneak in some suicide bombers to take out the power plants, then land some of the special forces guys (they come with hangglider things!) to take care of the defensive emplacements.
Plus its always fun playing the bad guy and Nod is definately that.
I always pick the faction with the highest tactical capabilities. One that has a quick counter for everything. In the old games this used to be undecided. Both NOD and GDI had some. In the latest Generals game it was definitely the Air Force General for me.
I've yet to get CnC3 so I don't know. It sounds to me like NOD is too weak for effectiveness in counters but GDI is not well rounded enough to counter at all.

Ya, if GDI's power plants get taken out and they dont have a lot of units, there is very little they can do.
Nod has stealth generators, which seems to hide there structures, so if you place them early enough and scatter your power plants, your defenses should hold. Also, it seems Nod units build faster so in a couple minutes you can have a load of suicide bombers, buggies, aircraft, and a few tanks.
