My Friend wants to know what gpu is better for his laptop the nvidia 9200 or ati radeon hd 3800 guy at bestbuy said the nvidia but he wont listen to him so he wants to know from you:D

lol its so not even close. the hd 3800 will ABSOLUTELY BLOW THAT 9200 OUT OF THE WATER.

im talkin like an nvidia 6800 versus an nvidia 8800.

I was at Bestbuy at the time and he asked me to ask the employee and thats what he said I didnt say that just to clear that up I should have probably put that up before

If the laptop with a 3800 series in it has a high-resolution display to the tune of 1920x1200, it'll strugle quite a bit. Make sure the screen it a resolution that the GPU can actually play games at.

What is your friend spending on this laptop? If it's above $1000, consider getting the Gateway 6860FX at $1350. It's pretty expensive, but it's one of two laptops with an 8800M in it under $2000.
