Well since the new series is out and coming with GTX 280 and such how much will most video cards price move down ie, 8800 gt, 9600 gt and 9800 gtx. As well when will the new price reductions start? Summer?

This is for reference to when I should start looking for a computer again.

Also are the Quad core CPU processor prices going down anytime soon?

Thanks in advance

Keep in mind that the prices of 8800GT or 9600GT have been going down during the next few months even though these cards didn't have a direct competitor (i.e 9600GT is comparable with 3870, but 3870 is card that already had been on market for a long time when 9600GT was released). GTX 280 and 260 also aren't direct competitors to, say, 8800GT so I wouldn't be too much excited about it. Prices may go down, but the new high-end from Nvidia doesn't have to have such a big imact on them. As for the Quad Core prices cut: yes, you may expect some. Most likely. As for the Quad-Core CPU prices, those will probably going down sometime too.
