Is 85 degrees centigrade normal for when the GPU is load? the GPU is the MSI 8800GT overclocked version.

yes, i'd say it's about normal. Mine on full load is 89-91, i've also seen some people say theirs go above 100 when playin crysis. So if it's running at 85 it should be fine.

Yes i think you are ok.That card runs a little hotter than others and you should be fine.

yea your fine, 8800GTs are known to run quite hot seeing as there only single slot coolers..

no they just decided that single slot was better.. as it allows basically anyone to use it as it doesn't take up as much space..

Yes and the cards are made to bear that much heat so it doesnt matter anyways.

Thanks for the help. also when i'm not playing crisis the card cools right down to 55 degrees or so. if it get too hot than, i'll just let it cool down but thanks.
