My gpu is on idle 50c and on load 80c, is it good, is it bad, or normal? Will it damage the gpu?

Stock cooling? Pretty high on load :S My GTS 250s in SLI + OC'd idle at 38 C and hit 50-55 C while playing. 100% load they go up to 70 C on furmark.

Depending on your card, I'd say it's just fine. Most GPUs sit around that temp under load. If it's a 40nm GPU though, you should probably crank up the fan speed a bit (get Rivatuner if you don't have it).

your temps are fine then. She should handle things into the low 90s under the most extreme conditions. Just crank up the fanspeed if that happens

Maybe your fingers, but GPU's can handle up to 105C anything above that is a death sentence for them.

I can confirm that... my 8800 GTX hit 105C in Crysis a while back :P It's tucked away in my server to do folding now, and it's still running strong.
