$$$ GPU that can max games

Looking for a solid card for my cousin to max games with his 3770k.

I was looking at AMD cards since there have been some really good deals lately. Checking out the 7950, 6950, 7870.

I haven't used AMD in a long time so recommend me something. Warranty and quality is all that really matters to ME.

Looking to max the games he plays at 1920x1080. GW2, BF3, Skyrim, upcoming Metro Last Light, etc. Benchmark games to keep it easy. Ultra AA/AF.

hd 7870 or better will suffice to max out all dem games at over 50fps assuming 1080p. the lowest of these is guildwars 2 which appear to have some wierd fps scaling issues where it caps out at around 60-70fps no matter wut u do. i think the best config was a core i5 2500k + gtx 670 getting 70fps avg's.

If you have $300, get the GTX 660 TI and overclock it. It's within 5% the performance of a GTX 670, the only difference being the bus width. Should max any game at 1920x1080 no problemo.FuriousMudkip

660 Ti is a good card, but 7950 3GB is a better card at the same price.
