Grand theft Auto IV, PC version ( processor clock speed )

I have a AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+ 2GHz processor. Grand theft Auto IV states the clock speed must me 2.4GHz. Does anyone think that the 2.0GHz processor will still work? I don't want to open the box if it's not going to work.Reddzz

I just bought this game yesterday. My laptop has a Core 2 Duo 2.0Ghz, 4Gb RAM and a 9500m GS 512mb.

The game runs like **** but it's playable, barely.
