its recommended you take them out and reinstall them manually in the event this is a prebuilt.

Well I've done it 4-5times but it didn't work. By the way the motherboard is new I just forgot to mention so I think gfx might damaged any possibelities that might happen?

well i doubt thats the case but your welcome to ask amd what you should do (fun fact: ati is owned by amd) or your cards manufacturers.

odds are they would simply recommend something dumb like "tilt your pc on its side" or somethings. because when you think on it there isnt much holding your gpu's up and level odds are your way would work better than anything they would suggest. BUT im no expert ive never done a crossfire/sli setup.

I had the same problem with my 5850 sagging in the socket. The tool less system at the back of the case wasn't able to apply enough force to keep the card properly in place. I simply replaced the tool less clip with a screw and it works fine.

It was one of the thumb screws for holding the side panel of the case on.

On my case (cm 690) if you put the tool less catch in the open position there is a small hole like on non tool less cases, the thumb screw was just the right size to fit into the hole on the back plate of the card and attach it to this hole.

Thats the problem with graphics cards now, whilst every other PC part is getting smaller, the cards are getting bigger and heavier.
