Palit 9800GT 512MB DDR3 @ 7.3k
Palit 9600GT 512MB DDR3 @ 6k

Sapphire HD4850 512MB DDR3 @ 9.2k
Palit HD4850 512MB DDR3 @ 8.8k

Palit HD4830 512MB DDR3 @ 8.4k
MSi HD4830 512MB DDR3 @ 8.2k
Sapphire HD4830 512MB DDR3 @ 8k

Hi I've Decided not to get the 4850 after hearing about its cooling problems(Heatsink?) in the forums and especially problems on Sapphire.

Please compare the 9800GT, 8800GT, 9600GT and HD4830 in terms of quality since their prices here in India are less than the 4850.

Also please suggest a PSU+Case for 100$ to 120$ for the following config:

Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 2.66

Mobo : GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P

Ram : Kingston 2x2 GB DDR2 800MHz

Hard Drive: Seagate/Western Digital 320GB-7200RPM

Can you link the Palit HD4850? If it has the reference cooling design its awesomeness (Mine runs at 34C idle / 45C load) :) And hd4850 > 9800gt/8800gt/hd4830 > 9600gt So 60 for Case and 60 for the PSU?

Thanks, i do have one of the worst cases available :P

Its a crappy Halion case, the card keeps super cool because of its smaller design making it shorter than the reference hd4850, its so small that the gpu fan covers almost the entire card.

Here i found a pic of the card.

Well, that's the proof that one doesn't need a windtunnel case to have a cool system lol.
