I can vouch that a 350 watt can handle a 9600 gso with a pentium 4 3.4 ghz hyperthread, one dvd drive, and one hd, 2 gigs ddr2 667 ram. If your computer is somewhere in that ballpark then that is something for you to consider

yes but he could have a core 2 duo.. if so hes got alot more options without fear of bottleneck/incompatibility problems.. 7300gt's are still sold :P

dont be mean guys :P realistically a 4650 if u can find one. if not, a 5450 should work to, but check with the return policy before buying it! if they only have nvidia, then a gt220 should work. either the 5450 or the gt220 will last u until u retire that lame PC. they are both drastically more powerful then the 7300gt.

impossible without a new PC as we are heading into another console gen next year, and with the ever popular consoles gaining more ground, PC ports of the most popular console games will become more common place. a gt220-240 or up to a hd 5670 if it fits will be best UNTIL u save fora new PC by early next year.

it will play alot of games but it wont be setting any track records anytime soon. its ment atm for playing game son high details (not highest) with no aa or af and this quality will continue to decline as the years go on.. so if you can do yourself a favor and get something with more teeth on it like one of the following:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150369 = hd 4770 (xfx)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814187098 = gts 250 low power + low profile (sparkle)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102871 = hd 5670 (sapphire)

I know what to do.lets wait for another one year.Next year Nvidia is gonna release 4 0r i think 3 series.I am not sure. But i can go for them.Until then i can carry on with 7300 GT cause Operation Flashpoint 2 and Bad Company run fine on it.I mean i can play them.So next year..................

haha the gtx 400 series is already showing up.. byt the time we see their mid range offering(gts 400 series (gtx 200 series rebrands which are possibly more power friendly) the hd 6000 will be here and possibly even the 7000 series will be upon us :P

im sorry to say it but waiting a year may proove to be in vein.. but do what you want man at the end of the day we can only advise.. you decide what gpu your getting.
