Okay I bought a new HP desktop and here are the specs

Intel core 2 quad @ 2.5ghz Q8300

8gb DD3 memory

Intel X4500 onboard graphics(they suck!)

300-350w psu not sure exactly

what graphics card can I get for this?

ati 5770 if your psu wasnt so bad. ATI 5650 becuase of bad psu. But i doubt you could even run that. Maybe 4650.

theres that for around 30 more bucks here in my local bestbuy(with shipping from newegg to PR it would cost almost the same)

You would want a 4650 or gt 220, 9600gso or better,

If the PSU is upgraded, the OP will only be limited by the size of the case.

well I went to BB and the geek squad rep told me the 4650 would fit, it said recomemnded psu 400w but the rep told me thats if I use crossfire dual card or something

Should I go for it?it is an XFX 1gb DDR2 128bit card

Get a 5670 and order it from newegg is cheaper, Bestbuy rips you off b.c is retail and not a warehouse.

I cant order from newegg, the shipping for almost everything to pr is $30+

at BB the 4650 costs 4 more bucks than newegg with shipping. just wondering if I can run it on my system as the BB dude claimed

A 4650 isnt too demanding of a card and is alot faster then the card you wanted.

Well I am going to go pick it up right now and ill be back with the results, I am installing mw2 atm but I already have dragon age origins installed and I can use that to test it out.

None in stock in PR, price here is 139bucks 4670x,x might aswell stick with the 4650 for atleast 1year and a half and later do a full psu upgrade with gpu
