Hi, just bought a bfg 8800 gt oc card, fitted it ,replacing a 7500le. no display came on screen. there 2 power connectors on the card, have i connected these wrong or is it a driver issue?. i have uninstalled old drivers and still nothing. any help appriciated.

the 7500le is intergrated i think so you will need to go into BIOS and switch to PCI-E, and if nothing is showing up at all (not even bios) then you need to make sure you have connected everything right use DVI if you are using VGA.

cheers for the response, a bit new to all this could you tell me how to alter the settings once in the bios, ive never tampered with the bios before, thx a lot

first of all does the the OS load, like do you see a writing on your screen when you boot up?

no, just a blank black screen and the pc bleeps quickly several times. fans running ok

It sounds like you got a BIOS beep code error. Try to figure out the exact code (example: 2 short beeps 1 long) and then google it, it will tell you where your problem lies.

FYI, you are only supposed to get one beep on bootup, this indicates successful POST.
