You're in the wrong forum, and asking about a non-gamers' version of a video device (nothing less than 600 level). Take it to off-topic, I think.

It's a Low-end card. If u want to play games get a 8600GTS or 8800GT

I'm assuming you have a PCI express 16 expansion slot in your comp. If so, "this" card is obsolete. I would recommend the new Geforce 8800 GT. This is a brand new, affordable version of the 8800 gtx that should run newer game's new graphical tricks. Just make sure you are not bottle-necking the cards performance by having a slow cpu and memory. (you prabably want at least 2 gig of memory). Hope this helps.

Actually, you dont really need anything as high as 8800's. If you want to play any game on max graphix then yes get a video card thats is 8800. Otherwise go for a 8500 or a 8600. If you go to Newegg.com they have 8600's for around $100. Hope this helps.

Okay, first you need to find out if you even have a PCI-E expansion slot to use. Yoiu'll have to look through your computer's documentation, or on HP's website to find that out. Second, quit shopping at Amazon for computer hardware. Buy from Newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130085 They're cheaper and have better customer service.
