Hey i have a couple of newb questions. 1. i was wondering if i was able to upgrade my Nvidia Geforce Go 6150 and 2. Am i able to put a differant much better one in without upgrading that one
1: Possibly, but that depends on what slots you have open for an upgrade - AGP? PCI-e x16? 2: I don't really understand your question - the 6150 Go is an onboard chipset, not something you can physically remove from your motherboard, so you should be able to install a new video card and still have the GeForce 6150 Go as a backup.
I will be able to if you have a PCI-e x16 slot. However, the NVIDIA 6150 is intergrated memory so you would just add another video card to it. You might want to check your power supply though.
If I'm not mistaken geforce go series are exlusively used for laptops, if you are talking about a laptop I'm afraid the answer would be no to both.BLKR4330
No, the 6150 chipset is also used on a plethora of Micro-ATX motherboards.
