Kane and Lynch had a great story, but too many things dealing with gameplay bumped that down considerably. While I don't think it's worth the 6 (and that whole mess following...) it was a decent game that left much to be desired for. I hope the sequel really changes things up like IO did for the Hitman series.
Another one.. Mass Effect :P Sure there were technical flaws, but at the very least it still should have been a 9 (on Xbox)
I think the f.e.a.r. games are a lot better, and why the heck are you comparing those two?they're not even the same genres dude..action shooter and horror shooter?Jericho and especially Timeshift. Timeshift is undeniably an AAA game, better than all the FEAR games combined.
I also think Ubersoldier is a VERY fun arcade shooter, and The Club is awesome and unique.
Baranga
the late eidos best fps work before they closed shop: deadwatch (8.0) and urban chaos: riot response (8.4)
shogo: mobile armor division (come see how monolith became what it is now in this daring fps crossing mech combat with hilarity and warzones)

What horror? Being raped by a dead chick?:P
The gameplay is the same - shoot people in the face using slow-mo.
Why do you think the FEAR games are better? Timeshift has better guns, better (and more) time powers, better AI (very aggresive and smart), better and more varied level design. And it also has COLOURS! The story is just as crappy, but at least Timeshift has an interesting concept and setting.
And you can shoot people in the face through walls!
Okay, so Mount and Blade is not the most polished game in the world, but I say it deserved at least a 7.0. I mean, this is a game that is playable and fun in spite of its faults.
It's mediocre bevause its unpolished, not because its core gameplay is uninspired.
Mount and Blade definitely, deserves at least 8.0, or at least 7.5. (I easily spend more time playing M&B than Morrowind and Oblivion combined)
Deus Ex, I think Gamespot under rated this game, I think it deserves 9.0 or 9.5. Though 8.2 is not bad
Battlezone 2 is way under rated. The game has/had one of the best multiplayer IMO.
Two Worlds
Just my 2 cents though no one might care. I played FEAR 1, its a fun game, good simple shooter. But The horror element wasnt that great IMO, the horror element annoyed me. The little girl was just a copy from many movies like the Ring.
Jericho and especially Timeshift. Timeshift is undeniably an AAA game, better than all the FEAR games combined.

Jericho is terrible, mainly due to your frustratingly bad squad AI. The enemy AI isn't much better either. The atmosphere was pretty good, and the story was alright, but i'd say a 6/10 is about right.

"jericho is terrible mainly due to your frustrating bad squad ai" come on....... apart from that it had good ideas and great graphics i wouldnt call it terrible just because of that.Mount and Blade
Deus Ex
Knights of the Old Repubic (its a great game, i would give a 9.5 to this game)
Escape From Monkey Island :D
It was so nice in the beggining and then it took the downhill, starting from that chapter in medieval ages....Jericho feels rushed, it's like they cut the funds halfway through developement. It's obvious the levels were intended to be much bigger, there are a lot of walls and fences behind which you can see other unfinished areas.
