So I'm bored at work lol and I'm thinking of upgrading my rig this summer.. I was looking at smaller form factors and I saw this:

http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/Product.aspx?S=1122&ID=1989

read reviews for it and it seems nice!

Probably gonna put i7 8GB ram and a nice (probably big) video card.. and hearing reviews it should work!

anyways, I was wondering if you guys know any other small enclosures that can be good for gaming :X :) Just want to know other options!

Current setup:

E8400 @ 3.0Ghz -- ATI 5770 -- 4GB RAM 800 -- ANTEC 300

Look at Shuttle, PCs of that form factor were originally commonly known as shuttle PCs cause they dominated the market so much.

Why do you want an mATX case? They're not very good for gaming PCs.

Sure they are. Yes, they can be a little cramped, but when it works, they look EPIC.

Take this PC V351 rig for instance:

Sure, if you want to spend heaps on liquid cooling, cause there's no room for good aftermarket HSFs.

Even then, mATX boards are not going to have the features of an ATX board.

Look at the review for the InWin Dragonslayer. It can fit adult sized heatsinks and full length GPUs. it just wins haha.

Yep. Quite impressive, to say the least. Almost impressive enough to want to try it myself... :o

I have a mATX board and while it wasnt the best decision I ever made but it certainly gets the job done so I wouldnt say that they are bad for gaming.

This one here, Antec 900 Gamer. 4 fans, room for 2 more, you really can't go wrong.

Those are some huge cases. They are like borderline of SFF.

Antec Mini P180 if you can track one down (I think they're refreshing the line-up, so I'd assume something like a Mini P183 is on the way). It isn't the smallest mATX case in the world, but the performance is great (especially if you're willing to mod in a side fan).

The Silverstone Fortress FT03 looks great as well, but it's crazy-expensive for an mATX case.

Well, if a case is ATX, it'll also fit a micro ATX motherboard. Unless space is the issue (not mobo form factor)... in which case, my bad!
