Total setup ran me about $650 with free monitor and my old OS. If you adopt this get a different PSU for about $60.

I was told this would not play Crysis and that it was cheap quality. I ran the crysis demo on Very High and got between 31-44 FPS on a 1024x768 screen. I have some pics of sweetness and highly recommend this setup. Fans at 40% on GPU and slightly overclocked using EVGA software.

I will post pics with FRAPS on them and will be taking special requests if you don't believe them (such as "look at your shoe" "stand on a rock and look at the water" or something like that) HIGHLY recommend this setup to anyone looking to get a cheap cost effective build.

Me running Crysis on new computer

Good set up. But the E8500 is not a "budget" CPU, neither is 4GB of RAM "budget". Those are pretty top of the line. The E8400, E8500, and E8600 are high-end Core 2 Duo chips. Your 8800 GT is medium-high-end as well. I wouldn't label this stuff "budget". Great machine for an affordable price.
