I have a ball with this game with my Logitech MOMO Racing Wheel with pedals.
You can watch My first win using the Wheel. It took awhile to get adjusted to the game.

But you got to love the car damage!
Indeed, its a great game ...i thought Gran Turismo have no competition, but Grid showed me i was wrong.gfile
There's no need for Gran Turismo when you have GTR2.

There's no need for GTR 2 when you have TOCA 3. ;)
I haven't seen a good racing game since TOCA 3, but Dirt and a lil far away, Grid come pretty close for me. All the so called simulators are half-assed games and the Gran Turismo series is the worst of them all.

I would hardly call Gran Turismo "half-assed". Just my opinion.

Now that Daniel has proven he knows nothing about real simulators and nothing about real car feels........continue the disussion and ignore his posts........SheeshGRID ROCKS!!! BEST RACING GAME EVER!!!
I use the keyboard, none of friends can play it with the keyboard. Although i cant use it with the gamepad or wheel, im terrible.
Nearly clocked the game though with the keyboard:)

Wow another great film!!! You should do the ads for the software company. Looks like you get some real tummy twisters in that game!!!
That would be cool.
I don't like arcade circuit racers, I absolutely hate them but this game is awesome! I got it because somebody forced me to get it and I'm glad I did. It's arcade but the driving mechanics allow you to use quite a few tactics, which is nice for an arcade racer. It's not completely realistic but the game leans more towards realism then arcade. The game gives you a nice sense of speed and I like it how the other racers make random mistakes quite often, forcing you to dodge them. The flashback feature is nice. Instead of frustrating you when you bump into something and have to restart the race, you just use the flashback function.
I absolutely love it how the game punishes you in a realistic way for bumping into other cars. Especially bumping into the rear of another car. In other arcade racers I make it a tactic to bump into the rear of other cars to give me an advantage, especially in corners, but that's not possible here, which is very nice. Actually, the game punishes you for bumping into everything. Even if you try to "grind" a wall by bumping into it through a corner, you will most likely lose control of the car and damage it quite badly. And the damage model is very well done. It seems a bit random and unpredictable, so if you bump into a wall it doesn't always result in the same amount of damage.
The replays look very nice and give you a nice sense of speed while watching the replay. They don't do it by cheap post process effects but by nice and unique camera angles. I actually enjoy watching the replays in this game.
I heard some people complain about the keyboard controls but I have no problems with them. However, I am used to playing rally games with a keyboard, doing insanely fast tapping of the arrow keys and smoothly changing between fast and slowly tapping, so I'm used to that kind of stuff already.
