Grid on PC... How is it?

Anyone get this racing game yet? I see its out on Steam and was wondering if anyone got it yet and would mind giving me some impressions of the game.

I usually play Forza2 for all my racing needs, but i was wanting a racing game to have on computer as well.

So please let me know how this game is if you have played THE FULL game yet!

I played it at my filthy rich neighbour, on a DX10 system.

The only downside is that I don't like the menus.

Other than that, it freakin' rocks. Dozens of cars, dozens of races (you even have Le Mans!) and fantastic graphics. It's the best racing game I played since Flatout 2.

I played the game at my friends who preordered the game, is really good tho at first it can be hard cuz u have to get used to the driving u crash A LOT, but after some time u get used to it and enjoy all the variety in cars, tracks and awesome graphics ^^. I have to wait for my copy from amazon is still in the mail :(.

Oh yea get a gamepad to play it, the keyboard can be a little unconfortable.

Nope, PoS IMO, hated it. Looking into the rear view mirror looked like N64 graphics. The driving is ridiculous, you can do turns without letting go of gas and just ending up in the right position. Crashes are cool, and car graphics, that's about it. But it is another racer. I played this on the X360, it might be better on the PC.

the game is big fun, if a little frustrating for me (im using a keyboard)
you also need to look out for your car, it can get totaled very quickly because you drive at speeds of 250 kph, and the AI really loves doing PIT maneuver on you when you make a turn, crashing you into a wall, effectively ending the race for you.
also the fact that you cant have a practice run before the game is really bad, in DiRT you could practice alone, get to know the track, but in GRID you just have to learn while racing it, oh well.

Very good game.

It found some good middle ground between arcade and simulation.
