Ati don't release 3-4 of the same model they simply call it another model even if the die is similiary and size such as 4850-4870 instead there 512 meg 4870 ! now 1GB 4870 since few month and. as A 1GB edition overclocked (golden sample) they call it GS for shortname performance are simiary of 4870 1GB but slightyl better in minimum fps
and nvidia are proffeiosnal in screw people ;) 8600GT = 7600GT+5%. 8600 high overclocked is simialry as 7900GS while 8800GT is having three 7600GT XXX or OCX From bfg edition And two of them is is a rival to 260GTX if not bette in most of benchmark
For name GS = Great Salad / GT Grand turismo ? /GTS = Gand turismo Special Overclocked ? / Grand turismo XTREME overclocked! lol LE = Light Edition = Lag Edition = Lol not buying it one thing is good they stoped doing LE I think :) It was good old 5700LE : Light Edition when i saw benchmark i WAS LIKE IT why it Was so not expensive cuz it not good lol

As long a video card not too hot. i know several people who bough water cooling system for the main reason to cooldown there gpu with a waterblock so they can push the video card to the higher clock like none airflow can since you get like 2.0 / 2.3 / 2.5 Galon per minute but then the water would need to be cold :D it why there D-TEk fusion block / Radiator 120mm black ice

its just how nvidia kinda ranks there cards in power, gt then alll the ones above are just oc'd more prty if they are in the same series gts being about the middle gtx being the strongest then they trow the + on that gtx with some of the cards llike the 9800 gtx+
I actually had a question about the amount of difference between the ratings. Â I posted a question about laptops and there were many ppl saying that the 9600 GT was a fair bit better than the 9600 GS, is there really that much difference?
yes such as 7600GS in past. in benchmark was 25fps behind 7600GT it was comparalbe to a 7300 not LE and 7600GT was far stronger look ur self . LE / GS Is horrible performances
