Is everyone exicted that gta4 will come out in a month?

I passed on buying the console version, haven't played it at a friend's, didn't rent it, etc. Nada. Nothing. Only waiting for the PC version, well before it was announced.

To be quite honest, I think my gaming preferences over time have changed a little since the release of prior GTA games. Meaning, as an example, I'm doubtful I'll enjoy it as much as the first time I played GTA3. Regardless, I'm still looking forward to GTA4, which is a big Yes to your question!

Of course. A good addition to my collection(which only lacks GTA 3).

Yes. I get excited at every GTA release.

While it's good the PC audience will soon access to it; GTA has never really been my type of game.

I prefer games with some sort of fantasy/sci-fi aspect, being a city thug set in the real world doesn't appeal to me.

"excited" can't describe my feeling for GTA4. i'm rolling out the red carpet to this crime saga and wait at one end with a big smile and hands on my balls. :D

I admittedly played for about 20 minutes on a 360 once, and all the good sandbox feelings of the series is still there. One annoyance I found though, it's rather easy to go flying through the front windshield in car collisions... could be frustrating after a while during high speed chases. Oh well, there are always mods ;DThe_PC_Gamer

Haha, I remember that, even with seemingly slow collisions sometimes. Although it's nothing compared to riding a motorbike, becuase once you're at speed, hitting pretty much anything means that you're going to go flying off.

Valve has nothing to do with "Live" achievements and almost all their games if not all have achievements. (some have mods for achievements like GMOD and also other mods have achievements)

But after those, there won't be anything good til February :(

There were hardly any games out over the summer when I had a significant amount of free time.

Now several games are coming out in the space of two months, and I have enough work to keep me busy until next summer!

Life is one big kick in the perineum. :(

Well there's FEAR 2 (not that I'm interested), The Sims 3 and Alpha Protocol (hopefully Bugsidian will finally make a great game)

Also, some games are Q1 2009 so they come out about that time (Dragon Age, Endwar)

but for us in australia... all the good games come out in our summer =]

so we have plenty of time to play if were not down at our amazing beaches

I would have gone to the beach during the summer if I weren't in N. Ireland. :|

Worst of it is that Far Cry 2 and Dead Space will be delivered at the weekend, and I have to prevent myself from playing either of them until Christmas when I have some time off!

Same goes for GTA 4! :(
