GTA 4 - Post your bugs/errors/etc

I can only hope Rockstar will release a patch/fix for ALL problems occuring with GTA 4.

Here is my problem: I can not see a damn thing in-game!
The part of my car that you can see in this picture is very luckily captured on screen shot.
I had to turn my mouse very slowly to be able to see a 'normal' part of the game.

I got this game 6 hours ago and haven't played a second yet because whatever I try to do, I can not get rid of this screen bug..

By the way I have the same system as shown in my sig, except the vid card is new, I now have a 9800GTX+ and a 850W PSU.

It seems many guys with ati 4870 and 4870x2 have problems with gta4 LINK . I'm quite sure either rockstar will realease a patch very soon or Ati will realease new drivers to fix the ptoblem.

Have you tried to turn down texture settings. Maybe your gfx card is lacking VRAM required for such settings.

Yeah tried about everything I can think of.

Update drivers, even going back to some elder drivers.
Lowering, raising texture settings.
Using nvidia CP to adjust settings like AA, AF, Vsync..

Nothing has worked so far. And people saying ATI will release a patch soon makes me scared, what if there won't be a patch/fix for nvidia users who have a problem like me..

Hi guysfirst time ive joined a forum but I had that exact problem and heres my fix.

Download and install Rivatuna 2.20

Install then go to graphics driver settings and at the end you will see customize. Pick last option to reset driver settings. Restart and voila!!!
