GTA IV for Steam not starting up? WTF?!

For no apparent reason, too. I have social club, GFWL, and Steam. It didn't even ask me for my key in activation. Double click Grand Theft Auto IV in the My Games tab and it sends me to social club. Press play and it begins to have the loading circle around my mouse (Vista). Nothing happens. Load circle disappears. In Task Manager nothing is shown in applications, but I can see GTAIV.exe in processes. No way I can see to get it to work.

I'm extremely pissed, as I'm sure many of you have been before. Please help a fellow brother in need.

Have you got driver updates for your video card? Also this might sound silly but have you tried restarting your computer?

Evidently your PC is not able to run the game, only trying to helpNick_Boylan

Looking at his computer specs he should beable to run it quite well. TC did you try going to rockstar support forums?

I was having issues with gtaIV, it was pissing me off and windows troubleshoot was even suggesting I had bad RAM. I just went to the steam website and downloaded the newest steam update. Tada;)
