Unless the GTA series takes a huge step forward in some way, I'm not interested.
Total environment destructibility with decent physics and equal or better activities than Saints Row 2 would spark my interest.

Because that's completely doable on consoles... GTA IV barely ran at 25 fps as it was...and boy was it ugly.
It is if they target the Xbox720 and PS4, which I think they are. GTA5 won't be on current gen hardware.
Btw aside, I hate consoles for their throttling of gaming advancement.
I would love that too, but sadly next gen console could be as much as four years away, and there are valid rumors circulating about GTA V already. It's going to be on this generation of consoles.

Just because they haven't released Red Dead Redemption on the PC does not mean they won't release the next GTA on the PC. After all Red Dead Revolver never came to the PC but that didn't stop them bringing GTA 4 to the PC.
I wouldn't worry about whether GTA will come to the PC the questions as always is "when" and "what sorry state will in be in". I would say anything up to a year after the console version and still as broken as ever if past Rockstar history is used as a measurement.
