Do you need 2 pcie x16slots on the mobo to install this card, because I only have 1?

Im pretty sure theres no such thing as a single card that needs 2 pcie slots. the only reason youd need two is if you had 2 of the cards.

In the specs for the cards it shows 2 dual slots for gtx 250 and above and anything below that a single slot. So I'm assuming you need dual pcie slots on you mobo to support these cards, right? Or am I missing something?

It means it'll take up two spaces on your rear panel due to the size of the cooler. It doesn't use two PCI-E slots to function.

Thanks for the info but, does that mean that it would fit into the 2 pci slots next to my 1 pcie x16 slot. Sorry about my ignorance on this. I really appreciate your help!

It won't plug into it, but the heatsink (Fan thingy) might block it, and it could take up 2 slots on the back of the PC.

Sorry for that, to out it in a nutshell you will need to expansion slots for the card but one pci-e slot to run it now what ever is under that one pci-e slot is going to be block that one area.
