GTX 275 vs HD 4890

Is there a better card? Some charts show the 275 ahead but others show the 4890 ahead...

Like you said some games the 275 will perform a little better, while in other the 4890 will be better, what it comes down to is do you prefer nvidia or ati? Or what you can get a better deal on, or the customer service of the distributor.

But Dont The NVidia 200 Series support CUDA Technology And Physx, Someone told me to go for the 275 Because of that Heres a link to a Few realy good cheap 275 Gtx's:http://www.overclockers.co.uk/productlist.php?groupid=701&catid=56&subid=1410

The 4890 is a bit cheaper and similar performance. If you want both price and performance go for the 4890. Which I'm doing that as well.

i was hung up on this question for some time too but spendng a week looking at benchmarks like this:http://www.guru3d.com/article/geforce-gtx-275-review-test/10 i saw that the 4890 asometimes can actually fall behind a gtx260 c216 and that somtimes the gtx275 can go ahead the gtx285 and so i decided and i got the gtx275 superclocked

i remember reading something about the 4890 having dx 10.1, don't know how much it will help though.

CUDA isn't used in games and Physx is used in hardly any.
