Hey guys, quick question: I've done some research, and I read that the 5870's are better than the GTX 470's, however, I'm wondering if it's true with these two cards?

470

or

5870

Solution? Get a gtx 460 Then save up... Get a second one ???? Profit The 460 is cheaper than those cards and the power consumption is also lower.

This. Get a 460 GTX 1GB version, then pick up a second later on (unless you have the cash to do so), lower power consumption, great graphical output (no PC has struggled on it, but dont hold me on that cuz i havnt tested crysis :P , however, benchmarks show that SLI 460 GTX can run at 60 FPS). It IS the best Nvidia 4 series range money can buy.

Well, i had two GTX 275's in SLI, but my computer keeps blue-screening, relating to the cards, so I don't know if I want to do SLI again. Might just be those cards though.

Blue screening can also be driver conflicts, OS issues, overheating also not enough power.

GTX 470 definetly, a superclocked card and a free game for $50 less than the 5870.
