If your not upgrading the psu I would go with the GTX 670. it uses less power. The difference between the those gpu are small performance wise.

? It says he has a 700 watt power supply, that should be plenty for any single gpu card.
Nope, its not even a good quality psu..[QUOTE="topgunmv"]

Nope, its not even a good quality psu.. I wouldn't be worried about his PSU either, that PC isn't gonna pull more than 500W at maximum with any of those video cards and all that extra wattage is on the 12V rail.[QUOTE="04dcarraher"]Nope, its not even a good quality psu.. The TC's best bet is pick up a good quality 500-550w psu and get a 7950 or gtx 660ti.[QUOTE="topgunmv"]

[QUOTE="RyanShazam"]I'm getting all different answers lolMarfooAll three cards you listed are excellent choices and any of the three will serve you well in all honesty.
7970 or 670 dependent on your preference of manufacturer - 680 isnt even in the equation for being too expensive for the performance gain it gives if any over an oc'd 670 or 7970
I would always put it down to one factor to choose between the 2 cards, if you want physx. Yes get the 670, no get the 7970. Not bothered with physx then get the 7970, for me best performance vs $ in that price bracket

I agree, hard to beat the price/perf of a 7970 overclocked.yeah the 7970 is the best performance card out of those 3 AND it is the best bang for buck as well (the prices are going up on these cards though). Still radeon doesn't have physx if thats important for you so you might want to go 670. The 680 is useless.
Good choice with the 7970. I've been looking into video cards lately and if I decide to buy instead of waiting for the 8000 series, I would have gone with a 7970. Higher VRAM and memory bus allows you to play better at higher resolutions and handle higher res textures and AA without as much of a performance hit.
Ita not coming with any free games :(^ha nice! I also got the 7970. Did you get the free games with it?

If I go GTX 670 should I still get a new psu?RyanShazamThe specs of your PSU are adequate to handle any of those cards, however it may be something you want to upgrade in the near future if not immediately to name brand. As it was stated earlier, they put no-name brands into some of these computers and sometimes their quality can be questionable sometimes. I'm not sure personally if that's the case with the models they put into your specific computer but a stable and adequate powersupply is a good investment in the long run.
Either get a 7950 and overclock it to at or above 670 performance or get a 670 and overclock it to at or above 680 performance.
In no situation should you be buying either the 680 or 7970 unless you get a stupid good deal.
