After reviewing all the Editions is there really anything worth the extra 20$ for the deluxe, i would pay it if the banker would stick close to you for longer then 5 days.

The Elite skill is cool... (been reading a bit about it... lots of people are saying it's just cosmetic)

The tome and Chalice I'll keep them till I find a guild with decent people / if I feel like PVP-ing

Rytlock miniature is cool and all, but I doubt I'd be using it often...

Hero's Band is cool too.

For me, it will be the Collector's Edition. I'd kick myself if I didn't buy it. I collect figurine/statues. Not action figures. So this is a huge plus for me. I also collect art, prints, and it'll go well with my Game of Thrones prints I have now.

Going with the Digital Deluxe, if the CE was £100 then i would of gone with that.

The Golem banker isn't activated the day you start playing. It'll be when you want to use it, when you unlock the

reast of your bonus items.

Why do you say that? They have announced that they will provide DD services with GW2. They just haven't

released the list of DD services that will have GW2.

released the list of DD services that will have GW2.

The only places i have seen it for pre order in the U.S. is Amazon,Gamestop,Bestbuy and Arena.net

Yeah for pre-purchasing yes, but once the game is closer to release they will offer the game to be purcahsed through DD services.

It'll ONLY last for 5 days IRL, but you get to choose when to use it. Everyone will have to type something like "/bonus" to get

those items. That way ALL of your characters are able to use those bonus items at any point in time that it is added into the

character's inventory.

The version you bought is a stand alone copy. If they do release GW2 on Steam then you HAVE to buy it on Steam itself. You can't connect a non-steam version (like the one you bought) to Steam. You can however make a shortcut in Steam with your copy, this will then allow you to start GW2 from Steam and possbily have the Steam overlay (I say possiblity because the for some games it doesn't work), with GW1 it does work, so that is a bit of hope.

^The reason I like having majority of my games go through Steam, and even non-steam games to be launched through Steam

is then I can have the Steam overlay so I can talk with everyone through that. Hopefully GW2 has a windowed-boardless mode.

I'll probably be getting two copies of the game, so I guess it will be the standard editions. Not seeing much in the Deluxe edition to interest me anyway.

Only thing bad about this pre purchase is there is no Release date and no refund it's a shot in the dark. All we get is a hope for 2012 my guess is around christmas 2012 but thats only a guess.

They won't release the game during December because holiday events are very important to them, and if the game game out in Deccember

they would have to put together a sloppy x-mas event, that and when we all get our game it would be a christmas theme instead of the generic

look of what the game should look like (which they wouldn't do). The lastest they would release the game would be November (which is kinda pushing it), otherwise

they would just wait until 2013. Looking at ANet's history they are probably going to release the game in either August or September so they can focus on updates and get ready for their halloween event and eventually the x-mas event. So IMO, if they game isn't released in September/October at the lastest then we won't see the game until 2013. But from ANet has already said they are for sure releasing the game this year, for sure.

I got delux edtion. I know the ingame items are not all that great but always nice to have a item to fun about with.
