Guild Wars 2 Map

I just saw this new video from gamescom that shows the GW2 map. The actually gaming zone is huge!

I have to admit, that gave me the chills. Tyria just got GIGANTIC! :D

Being a veteran Guild Wars player I always considered the continent huge and with Eye of The North expansion it only got bigger, but seeing the zoom out my jaw landed on the floor.

That seems big, however large worlds can be irrelevant if much of the world is bland and uninspired. Not saying the world is that, what we have seen so far is pretty good. Lets just hope the rest of what hasnt been seen yet is up to par to what we have seen.

Elona in GW1 was bigger. Of course it feels small. GW1 was heavily instanced.

Must say its pretty big O.O. Does anyone know if there are zone or can you just run from one place to another without loading time?DarkblueNinja
