Guild wars 2 Will it be as big as the original or will it be a bore?

As all guild wars junkies we all know that guild wars 2 is comming out. Will the game be awsome and new fresh or will it be the same old thing with a better engine? Will the game attract new players or will it still be second to wow? Will Anet be able to keep the game about skill and not builds like the wat it is now ? can Anet come out with a game that all guild wars players will like and new players will like as well ?Post thoughts and comments !

my best guess is it will be a great game, however alot of guild warts fans may be disapointed, because it goes in the direction of WoW in my opinion, though i luv wow. i'll probably pick it up.

will its to late for guild wars, they lost more then half their players a few months after factions came out, including me. i played that game for 1 year and 6 months just to be let down by a VERY VERY VERY crappy games that followed it.

After that game came out almost everyone i knew quite this game, actaully i believe more then 500,000 played quite the game world wide.

this wont attract the new players, guild wars is dieing because of the developers and the played. the players wont allow any new players and if you play guild wars you knwo that.

if your rank isnt 3 then ur a noob and no one wants you!!! WTF?? how will that attract new players?? i played that game for sooo long yet i wasnt rank 3, did that make me a noob??? just because i didnt like to go to hall of heroes that makes me a noob? Even thought i was in a very good guild which is dead now, we were rated 136 or something like that, people still thought of me as a noob, i had more then 500k, but still im a noob.

I tried to do heroes audience or whatever it called now, but since i wasnt any guild(because my old guild died) and no one wanted me because im not rank 3 how am i supposed to get to rank 3???

Guild wars is dying? Go look at xfire and see the amount of people that play it. It certainly is not dying in the least.

Frist off pve dosnt take any skill second off guild wars isnt dead im just wondering if guild wars 2 will be a hit or not and new players can get to r3 in a day ( or at least i did ) factions was a big let down to alot of players including me and my freinds my close freind said that "sins think there 1137 cuase they killed you with a cheap buld " witch is ture factions sins were overpowering and nightfall SF anyone ?

Actully u can "jump" in gw2 in guild wars eye of the north u can use the hall of mounments witch allow u take some things with u in gw2 and btw gw2 is having a very high level cap though u can max out ur charter before reachingn the max level

will if u are a veteran then u should remember that the heroes audience(or whatever its called now) had more then 25 districts now it has only 3 or something like that, RA had like 40+,TA had 10+, ascolon has 20+, i dont even remember seeing a city or district having less then 5 districts 4 months before i quited the game.

Out of my 156 friends on my friends list, i only saw 27 of them playing!!!

also there are tons of blogs and **** likee that telling you about how more then 500,000 GW players have quit since factions.

but anyways i think GW2 will be a great game but i highly dought that is will be bringing new players. I mean i even tried to get back in gw but it was just toooo annoying. All the players are sooo nerdy they are all like " oh you in bad guild you noob" or "you rank 2 you noob" and its like impossible to find a guild.

But i really do like GW and think GW2 would be a really good game, but dont think it will bring new players. But thats me...

Doesn't matter. Guild Wars won't be able to remotely compete with Warhammer Online. Just buy Warhammer Online.

I agree with you, Guild Wars (all 3 campaigns) is doing VERY well. Nowhere near dead.

Guild Wars 2 will do excellent, irregardless of the competition.

I think GW has improved greatly since Nightfall. EOTN is looking to be even better. And if they keep the trend going GW2 should be great, but who knows, only time will tell.

And I'll definately be getting GW2, no doubt about it. And GW is all about no online fees, so GW2 should not be any different.

Has anyone in this thread heard of using periods? I can hardely understand half these posts...
